SAMBRA, (South African Motor Body Repairs Association) dictates the standard with regards to skills, equipment and secure excellence in the motor body repair industry in South Africa.
SAMBRA has three gradings namely: NSR, ASR and MSR.
NSR (Non Structural Repairer)
This is a panelshop which covers the lowest SAMBRA criteria.
ASR (Advanced Structural Repairer)
This panelshop may repair vehicles with minor structural damage.
MSR (Major Structural Repairer)
This is the highest grading, the panelshop may repair major structural and chassis damage.
SAMBRA has signed a protocol with SANTAM, Mutual & Federal, ABSA and SA Eagle, whereby all SAMBRA approved members must adhere to a code of conduct.
